What are the expected battery improvements in the iPhone 16 series?

I read that there are expected substantial battery enhancements in the iPhone 16 lineup. Please explain what has Apple promised for these new devices?

Apple has claimed that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will achieve a ‘significant improvement’ in terms of battery life while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to have the ‘best battery life on an iPhone to date’. Such enhancements are a result of larger batteries being fitted in all iPhones and increased efficiency in the chipset.

Small request: It would be nice to add a 24 hour idle battery drain on mobile data, location and Bluetooth to the test for perspective.

Not every user puts their phone to enormous stress test regularly but we use it daily with navigation, Bluetooth and mobile data on. So I think it would affect greatly a battery efficient network reception capability significantly improves battery experience for a user and can might alter the final conclusions of the test either.
