What's new with the AirPods Max update?

I have the AirPods Max and I received an expected notification about the update. What are the new features?

The update to the AirPods Max is received with mixed feelings. The headphones launched in 2020 are now offered in five stunning shades and come with a USB-C charging port instead of a lightning port. Other than that, however, the AirPods Max remained unchanged. There still is no toggle switch on the headset, the same criticized case is still included with the headphones, and other AirPods models have switched to the H2 chip but Max headphones still include the H1 chip.

Having tried both, Sonos Ace is a better all around headphone imho and since they’ve been on sale it’s a no-brainer.

My iPhone 11 is still working fine. If it slows down i just buy a new battery and it’s back to normal! Your phone doesn’t need upgrading, your battery does.

The AirPods Max section really felt like Apple giving a massive middle finger to all their customers, like genuinely one of the most transparently lazy updates Apple has ever done.
