Once you click ‘send’ on the messaging application, you are sending messages to the mobile processor through minute wire copper strands that are etched on the circuit board of the respective smartphone. Such messages appear to be electrical impulses which are electrons moving under a potential difference. An impulse has its origin in the transmission of an electrical telephone signal, which is converted into an antenna radiowave and emitted as a signal. At this stage, the antenna radiowave is sent to nearby cell towers, and wires across several cell towers transport such information. The recipient of this message has a similar tower positioned close to him, and it is this tower that sends the message to his wireless tablet or any device.
