Which laptop has better gaming performance: MacBook Pro 14 M3 or Dell Inspiron 2024?

I’m looking into purchasing a new laptop and I want to know how the gaming performance is. Which one of the two laptops is worth spending your money on in regard to gaming, the MacBook Pro 14 M3 or the Dell Inspiron 2024?

In regards to the comparison, the MacBook Pro 14 M3 appears to perform better in terms of FPS during gaming than the Dell Inspiron 2024. For example, even at full HD and high settings, the MacBook Pro 14 M3 goes past 30 FPS while the Dell Inspiron 2024 manages around 30 FPS. In yet another game – Lies of P, the figure for Macbook Pro 14 M3 came close to 50 fps as opposed to Dell 40 fps. Hence one can conclude that the MacBook Pro 14 M3 has stronger gaming capabilities.

understood, but the difference here is you can spec an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 9 with an RTX GPU. And the options in games are far lacking for Mac.  Intel is only just beginning to get serious after years of slow progress it's no surprise here in your results with integrated graphics.  Intel is catching up... and I expect they will continue to.  In short, it's cherry-picking, there is way more variety and options when choosing a PC machine. Want to game? buy a laptop with an RTX GPU, such as a 4060-4070 if you want to keep the price down, or go all out with an RTX 4080/4090. Apple Silicon is great, I don't mean to discredit where credit is due, but the variety of options on the Intel/AMD side is just amazing.

What kind of graphics card in the Inspiron? Intel Iris only? How are you able to play slightly more complex games with that? Will that actually work for editing? Just curious because I don't know much about gaming.
