Not quite, the body of the Tesla Cybertruck is not shapeless and flat. It looks like it is just a shape that can easily be made by folding a sheet of paper, but, not so fast, the surfaces are actually gently dome-shaped. It would look cartoonish or sunken if it was perfectly flat, shiny reflective surfaces which is why this slight curvy feature has been provided and it serves the purpose quite well.

James May measuring how curved each panel of the Cybertruck has with a steel rule is the most James May thing you'll ever see.

Only James May could hold my interest holding a steel rule to multiple panels announcing “very very slightly convex” repeatedly

Most reviewers "the cyber truck goes from 0-100 in 3 seconds"

James May "straight...slightly convex"

Everyone reviewing a cybertruck: how fast is it? how far can it go? how does it offroad?
James: where can i put my bottle without it falling off? Is it actually flat?
Never change, James. Never change.

I wouldn’t assume Tesla intentionally made those panels oblate until I had taken my straight edge to at least half a dozen examples.

pointing out the finger prints and pulling out the ruler to check it's flatness. I actually learned something new. this what I missed from old topgear/grandtour. the trio's car reviewing is next level.

"I'm certain the designers made all these panels purposefully flat or rounded"
Meanwhile you got parts that arent even aligned properly.
