Do you believe that there are noticeable discordances with regard to the web browsing experience on the 24-inch and 27-inch iMacs?

The 24-inch iMac is absolutely better for browsing the web compared to the 27-inch iMac model. In the Speedometer browser benchmark test, the 24-inch iMac score of 226 compared to 163 on the 27 inch model, which is a 38 percent better performance. This means that the web browsing stage will be so much smoother and quicker on the 24 inch iMac.

Is it fair to do performance comparisons when you're running two different versions of macOS (Catalina v. Big Sur)?

You were using a different os on the two models - macOS Big Sur 11.3 on the 24" M1 iMac and macOS Catalina 10.15.7 on the 27" Intel iMac. Would this make a difference anywhere, e.g. the browser test? Did you do any comparisons using the same version of OS on both?
