Is the iPhone 16 Pro Max more durable than the 15 Pro Max?

I have heard that the new iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to be tougher than its predecessor. How accurate is this and how much more durable is it than the previous model?

As per Steve’s report on the durability tests, Apple claims the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 50% more robust than the first generation of Ceramic Shield. Furthermore, it also claims to be twice more durable than any other competitor’s glass. In practical drop tests, it was also reported that the iPhone 16 Pro Max has performed exceptionally well in terms of survivability and usually withstood many drops without certain noticeable impact.
