The major differences between the Mac Mini M2 Pro and Mac Studio M2 Max are in performance, storage and design. The Mac Mini M2 Pro has a 10-core CPU alongside a 16-core GPU and includes 32GB of RAM as well as a 1TB SSD. The Mac Studio M2 Max on the other hand has a 30 GPU alongside a 12 core CPU, 64 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Considering the fact that the Mac Studio is able to manage as many as five external displays, it would have been very useful when it outstrips the Mac Mini's capabilities which can only have three external displays. Further Mac Mini is limited to a single 1 gigabit Ethernet port whereas Mac Studio has a 10 gigabyte rated port. Additionally, the Mac Studio features more front ports such as the SD card and two USB-C ports, improved placement of the 3.5 mm audio jack. The Mac Studio on the other hand has a design that has a black ring on the down part of it which also adds up to its design by ensuring stability and making the bottom free from scratches.
