There are reported improvements of the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips that are said to be within the new MacBook Pros’ M4 architecture especially in the genre of CPU cores which focuses on maximum performance. The architectural range of the on board 12 Core CPU is expected with the M4 Pro while 16 core CPU is expected with the M4 Max, this suggests that stronger CPU Cores with more core counts will be included allowing iMac’s to have a superior single core performance and multi-core performance boosts as well. It is expected that the core counts for GPUs will not change, with a maximum count on the max model at 40 GPU cores, but with slight improvements for GPU performance expected.

I’d highly doubt that the M4 Pro and Max would come with 4 e cores. It would make no sense to lower the power efficiency of the M4 Pro and not use the 6 e cores for the M4 Pro/Max.

I'm waiting to see the test results and the heat results.

It should always be 32gb of ram or more. I did not buy a Mac because of this freaking 8gb of ram and the outrageous memory upgrade prices.

8 GB is a joke, 16 GB, +200.00 to update at 16 is horrible. 800.00 for a desktop with 8gb ram? please.

Temporal Dithering -- you Apple Influencers need to get Apple to allow MacBook users to TURN OFF Temporal Dithering.  The "rapid alternation between two adjacent color levels to create a middle ground color" gives a LOT of us splitting headaches.  In addition, it sure does not help performance.  Once Apple adopts OLED Displays for their MacBooks, this problem should be eliminated.  In the meantime, though, it's back to a 2019 MacBook Pro that doesn't have this issue.
