It really depends on how you plan to use the device. The iPad 10 does not support the Apple Pencil 2 that charges wirelessly with magnets. Instead a new USB Type-C Apple Pencil has to be used, which has magnetic attachments but no pairing or charging capabilities. If you really wish to use the Apple Pencil for more in-depth tasks like drawing or even note taking, it’s better to choose a more expensive variant such as the iPad Air or iPad Pro which have additional features supporting the Apple Pencil 2 in advanced tasks such as pressure sensitivity along with a Find My support. However, if the Apple Pencil is being used for simple tasks, the iPad 10 with the new USB Type-C Apple Pencil may still be a good choice.
