I’m thinking about getting the regular iPad but I am not certain regarding the storage variants. What are they?

The regular iPad is offered in two storage variants: the first one has a storage option of 64 GB which is priced at $350, and the second one is a 256 GB storage option which is available for $500. The iPad Air is likewise available if there is a need for more than 64 GB of storage and one does not wish to up that to the 256 GB model due to the price, as the iPad Air also has a starting storage capacity of 128 GB and is upgradable.

I have been using iPad 10 for 7 month now and to be honest overall it’s really good, I use it for studying and note taking, the only negative I felt was that sometimes when I am writing notes the screen lags a bit, and the storage problem since I am using the 64 gb version.
Other than that it’s pretty good

I need to understand why the iPad starts from $349 in the US but £349 in the UK, which is around $480!!!

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with 512gb. I use it to make videos using iMovie. It works fine except it's increasingly hard for me to see (I'm 72 yrs old). Would the iPad 10 work for me? I don't want to spend so much on the iPad Air. I see the iPad 10 only comes with 256 as the highest. Do you think that would work for me? BTW, even though I have a MacBook Pro with iMovie, I prefer to use my phone as it is simpler to make videos and has enough bells and whistles for my videos. I guess I want an iPad that is at least the equivalent of my iPhone. but without cellular. I sure would appreciate your opinion. I really enjoyed your content! Thanks for the clear comparison!

The problem is, if you get the normal ipad and you find the 64gb way too low, you have your get the 256gb one and if you get that one you could also just get the air one cause the price difference isnt big

Couldn’t agree more. The iPad 10th gen at £379 (uk) is an absolute bargain and for the majority will give you the iPad experience you need. At that price it’s even cheaper than a Samsung S9 FE.
