For professional use involving graphics and videos, is the Nano Texture variant of the Apple Studio Display important?

Nano-Taxure makes a really huge difference. After expecting this at Apple shop I did my decision to avoid it at any price.

what do you mean the text is not crisp! its supposed to be retina 5K display. You didn't elaborate. But are you sure you had the wrong settings or needed to do something?

you bought the wrong model. Use standard glossy one, and get a a curtain, the display will be much clearer.

recap: avoid nano texture, end.

I would have just put a matte screen protector on the regular glass display.

I noticed it at first but it was very subtle at least for me regarding the nano texture. I prefer the matte finish over the gloss because it’s extremely bright in my work area. I’ve tried a lot of the other 3rd party monitors and aside from the resolution I prefer the simplicity. Great coverage. Glad the monitor survived the fall too! ⚡️⚡️

Absolutely, the anti-glare nano texture on the Apple Studio Display works well when used in graphic or video works. It also helps diffuse light and reduce surface reflections which is useful when the source of light is from the observer’s back. Due to this, glare is minimized, and the ability to see the screen and focus on editing videos or graphics improves.
