The best iPads to buy for 2024 include the 10th gen iPad that is relatively the best for features and price, also the 13 inches iPad Air which has in a much oh cheaper price than the rus. For a starting price of $349, the 10th gen iPad is a great device that will not disappoint its users. The 13 inch air however is big and has an M series chip for all Apple intelligence features. The competition between the iPad Mini and the new iPad Pros is fierce, but they do not seem to offer value for money.

I would avoid the base iPad because it doesn't have the longevity of the Air and Pro models. I know many people that still use the first or second gen iPad Pro without any problems while the standard iPad from those times are almost unusable.
I would recommend the Air and if you want the few extra features of the pro (promotion, faceid, oled screen, better speakers) then go for the pro but its absolutely not necessary.

Unless I missed it, I think the RAM differs, certainly between the base model and the others? This will also make a difference in multitasking
