To perfect your descending skills, you need to master the cornering, the bike position, and your weight. You can first work on your cornering by practicing brake before the corner, rather than during so that you don’t lose control. While entering into the corner, stop braking and concentrate on the point where you want to go out instead of on the front wheel or the spot very close to the front wheel. One thing you should also be aware of is that you should keep your upper body in an upright positions so that you can put pressure on the outside leg to enhance gripping on the bike and give better control. You also need to remember to direct your eyes towards the direction where you wish to move while in a turn because this helps you in maintaining balance and executing the turn. Work on right twist, expect it to feel different than the left, lag practice and with practice you will notice that you are actually descending at turn and the speed is free.
