Many safety measures need to be used while descending on a bike, they include the following; 1. Always try to brake before getting into a corner to prevent any skidding or loss of control. 2. When going round a corner, one should look at the point they wish to get out from rather than looking straight onto the wheel. 3. Body should remain erect on the bike while applying pressure to the outside leg for better traction and control. 4. Try practicing on different type of turns so that you get used to both right and left side descents. 5. Above all, maintain situational awareness at all times especially while descending with a group of other riders to avoid collision. If these recommendations are observed and practice incorporated, safe and quicker descent can be achieved.
