What sorts of ports does Apple Studio usually provide and is there any restriction for connectivity as well?

Wouldn’t the resolution be better hooked up to like a Mac mini ? Instead of a laptop which I think would degrade wouldn’t it

And when the macbook is connected at all times, its charging at the same time right. Doesnt it effect the battery? I’ve just been curious and worried about this bit

Got mine when it dropped to 1299 xd. I mainly got it for the build quality, in my opinion the old apple Cinema display 30 is still a good 1920x1080 monitor ahead of its time. And I see this being the same,. Good build quality so good it will last 10 years, and at least 4k60 in this case 5k60. Thunderbolt I think will last a long time but look how that turned out in the Cinema displays case.

Does it overcharge your MacBook despite having it always plugged?

Thunderbolt 3 ports utilize one Thunderbolt 3 Peripheral port in the Apple Studio Display and three USB-C ports. Also, there is no Thunderbolt 4 support, nor can multiple Studio Displays be daisy-chained. In order to hook up several screens, it will be required to exercise other ports on your MacBook Pro. This is a drawback relative to other monitors that enable daisy-chaining straight forwardly.
