I've come to know that new iMacs have a magnetic power cord. What is the benefit of having such a feature?

The power cable of the new 24 inches iMac has a magnetic connector which provides a one hand operation for its connection and disconnection hence is a clinch better than the plug and unplug method of the older units which of course requires both hands. It is made in such a way that it is not easy to disconnect it but when an attempt is made to remove it, it does not take a lot of force, thereby minimizing the chances of pulling down the iMac from the desk. Further the power cable as well as the previous models is longer than before giving it more placement options.

Apple should have taken advantage of the thiness and made a travel bag for it with the stand being foldable or removable. No point in making the screen super thin if it is just stationary unless if it serves a greater purpose like portability to bring with you to other places like a laptop. Another thing would be the ability to mount it on the wall.

Its pretty deceiving that Apple is sending Magic trackpad in Reviewers units. I thought that the trackpad was also included with the package, but looking at retails units, it doesn't look like that case.
