Could anybody kindly give us insights on what might be the Apple Silicon Transition and what consequences has it heralded for the Mac family?

The Apple Silicon Transition transition is the transition when the Company Apple filled its laptops with its own silicon chips exclusively instead of Intel’s processors. The duration of this transition was projected at two years but in actuality lasted closer to three. This means that today every Mac that used to be based on Intel processors is now an Apple Silicon one– from the MacBook Air and Mac Mini at the entry level with an M1 and M2 chip to the high-end Mac Studio with dual chip configuration and the M2 Ultra chip.

I know they transitioned the iMac product line in general, but the fact that the 27”+ iMac has not transitioned makes the transition still feel incomplete

I recently got an Intel Mac for work and use an M1 pro for personal use and the performance is definitely noticeable

By using the same design for the last intel and first apple cpu versions of the same computer not only can they use up existing parts but they can best show off the thermal advantage of the apple chips, as it is operating in the exact same environment.
