How Does 'Inside Out 2' Compare to the Original?

Inside Out was, in fact, one of my favorite films. However, does the follow-up, Inside Out 2, manage to hold a candle to its predecessor?

‘Inside Out 2’ is rated comparably to some of Pixar’s best work owing to taking the characters of the story forward and showing a true picture of emotions at different ages in a person's life. Although it does not have the same impact as in childhood, it gets close and allows for the investigation of new emotions.
