Who wants to share how the Vemma Nutrition Company operated and what it really was?

Vemma Nutrition was launched in 2004 as a company where individuals could make money working part time. Their model called for individuals to buy a $500-600 kit of liquid nutrition products, and then to find two more persons to do the same. Most of members’ earnings were lower than their investments_during a period of Vemma’s rapid expansion of the business activity and high rates of annual revenue generation other participants were found operating, giving the reasons for accusations against Vemma for running a pyramid scheme.

Jobs were scarce in our small Alaska town, so my family got wrapped up in vemma in the early 2000's. I was a kid but saw many people join up in it who didn't have many prospects and a major lack of job experience and knowledge. Many of whom were hoping to take care of their families and only got multiple bottles of the medicinal "juice" that tasted of ground-up Flintstones vitamins. A  year ago I was cleaning out my grandparents  garage and there were still ancient bottles of their gritty mangosteen health product they could not move.
