In order to recognize a pyramid scheme, watch out for classic signs such as the pressure to 'hurry' and join, offers of ‘life-changing income’ and other requirements like paying out to sell the said product/service. Generally, pyramid schemes will use pressure techniques together with high hopes of unrealistic income in order to recruit people.
