How does the performance of M2 Mac Mini stack up against that of an M1 Max MacBook Pro?

In the case of this MacBook Pro, all operations are carried out without a hitch due to the increased processing cores and RAM compared to the M2 Mac Mini basic model.

Leaning toward the M1 Max Mac Studio which for (10core cpu, 24 core gpu, 16 core neural engine, with 32 GB ram and 1TB of storage it costs $2199).  If you compare this to  a similar m2 Mac mini with 12 core cpu, 19 core GPU, 16 core neural engine with 32GB memory and 1TB storage which also costs 2199 then it is not clear to me which might be better.  I will wait to see some benchmarks because it really comes down to M2 12 core CPU, 19 core GPU 16 core neural engine vs M1 Max with 10 core cpu, 24 core GPU and 16 core neural engine).  How must difference do 2 additional low power cores and the overclocked m2 make?

So I’m not top sure whats best for me. I need to replace my 2011 (yes its that old) iMac 27” I was wanted something a bit more portable - Yet I might use it for some photoshopping and editing but day to day email Microsoft office. I was thinking about the MacBook Pro 16” (for screen size) now I’m not sure. Are they releasing a 15” Mac Air? And would that do me.
