Is the active noise cancellation on AirPods 4 effective without rubber seals?

Since AirPods 4 don’t feature rubber seals, how efficient is their active noise cancellation system?

The ANC feature for AirPods 4 has been praised by many due to how effective it is even though there are no rubber seals. The newly designed contours and shape of the ear bud heads assist in the significant attenuation of external sound. The engines and fridges’ low frequency noise is well subdued while speaking voices at a higher frequency are better suppressed by the Pro 2 because of the additional passive ear seal. All in all, for earphones with hard plastic tips, the ANR of the ANC on the AirPods 4 is actually quite astonishing.

I cant stop but think how good of a review this is, literally answered every question I had, like i hated the fit of 3rd gen but liked fit of 2nd. Compared ANC, compared mics, compared how good it is compared with pros, the difference with the cases. Literally everything that matters without any rambling about stuff no one cares about but youtubers. Its weird how some youtubers obcess about stuff that no one cares about, not dave. And its all one shot idk how he does that

I kind of prefer the 4s plastic tip design now as I can still hear if I really need to and if I just pause the music I can hear perfectly fine without having to take out them out

The benefits of the AirPods Pro it’s not only the sound quality, but also the fit. I’ve very large ear canals, and none of the “normal” AirPods, or any other headphones without silicone, stay in my ear.

Just got my pair of AirPods 4 with anc. If you hated the 3s and have the 2s these are amazing. The noise cancelling with no in ear seal is bloody amazing. Way better than I thought it would be. Just got my partner a pair as soon as I used mine for a couple of hours. They feel like a small AirPod 2.

I just buy them yesterday from apple store and i can say that they are better than 3 gen i like the features you get plus the conversation awarness it works good overall the noise cancellation is like 50 to 60%

I've had airpods gen 1 from 2016, horrible battery life for now but still usefull, can't wait to get these new ones with ANC
