How does the microphone quality of AirPods 4 compare to other models?

Currently, I’m looking into AirPods 4 in the context of phone or video calls and meetings. Are the mics better than in earlier AirPods versions?

La cuarta generación of AirPods ingresan the H2 chip which is promising better microphone quality as well as better environmental noise cancellation. While it’s safe to assume that AirPods Pro 2, which also features the H2 chip, have even better microphones due to the higher price, Economically speaking, Airpods 4 should still represent a significant step in terms of microphone performance comparing to AirPods 2 and 3.

I seriously can't believe Dave is the first one to do an ANC test AND a mic test. Finally, a MIC TEST.

The question is do the mic and anc break in 2 months and convert into underwater sound as usual with airpods. Until they fix that I'm not buying it. I think this issue is not talked about enough.
