Do AirPods 4 have volume controls?

In my case, I’m quite accustomed to changing the volume right from my earbuds most of the times. Is the Airpods 4 equipped with volume buttons embedded?

Like AirPods Pro 2, the new Airpods 4 have force touch controls but do not have a volume control on individual ear buds. Orthers will have to control sound levels either from the connected device or through voice commands.

I just hate the fact that Apple won’t give us full music control (play/pause/skip AND volume) apart from pro models, while they’re already available in some old 4ss galaxy buds. What’s the point of needing to grab my phone every time I need to change the volume? Arghh

Wanted to hear how the controls differ from an old AirPods 2, love just hitting the side to skip and pause on AirPods 2
