Is there a procedure which allows streets with heavy traffic to be visible on my Garmin Edge map without setting notifications.

Yes, you can visualize high traffic roads on your Garmin Edge map without receiving alerts. On the map screen, scroll up from the bottom and toggle on 'High Traffic Roads'. This will show high traffic roads in red dashes on the map, allowing you to see them visually without the alerts interrupting you.

Thank you, all those features are crap and really annoying; including climb pro. After recent update i get warnings about high traffic roads and non existent pot holes…it’s annoyingly crap. I know the roads i ride on, so 99% of the time it is all unnecessary. The features are meant to be useful but they actually take your attention off the road and that is not good!

Then…save ride: how many water bottles did you drink? how many calories?….FFS, just save the ride.

I find that high traffic roads alerts pop up when I’m near a roundabout or a busy intersection or traffic junction
