How does the Amazfit T-Rex 3 compare to the Garmin Fenix 8?

I'm torn between getting the Amazfit T-Rex 3 or the Garmin Fenix 8. Could you provide comparisons in their pricing and features?

Both The Amazfit T-Rex 3 and Garmin Fenix 8 are alike in nearly every specification including their robust builds, color touchscreen displays, multiple sports profiles and other features. The only difference is, price. The starting price for the Garmin Fenix 8 is $1100 with options reaching over $1200. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 on the other hand comes at a price of $299. T-Rex 3 despite its lower price has decent features and performance.

Amazfit is out for blood.  The only thing is some of the notification verbiage are translated poorly.  Regardless, each iteration of the Amazfit devices is significantly better. Amazfit has a much nicer: UI aesthetic and flow than most of the sport GPS watch out there.  

This really shows: while Garmin may still be a class leader…. they are overpriced and UI needs to be reworked for better flow (even after trying the Enduro 3 recently). I have left the Garmin ecosystem and currently enjoying the more basic Coros Pace 3, but this Amazfit T-Rex 3 makes me just want to buy just to play around with.  Honestly, the T-Rex 3 has a great look with homage to the G-shock Casioak series or the luxury brand Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.

In 2 years time from this content Amazfit will definitely challenge Garmin and probably garmin might lose I have a T-Rex2 as well as Vivoactive 4 and also an Epix 2 sapphire and even though I love my Garmin I was thinking Amazfit will get the upper hand using AI…Excellent content and not bias.

I love Amazfit and I think that it could be amazing for the 90% of the people. But, honestly, Garmin is on an other level.

But, now I want this 2000 nits display, fast responsivness, and PRICE❤
If only it would have answer call options
But now I can't any more pay 1100 eur for a laggy, less brightness, smaller display Fenix 8 .... hmmmm
