I have heard that there might be some problems with the HDR detection and source swapping of Sony Endzone M9. Can anybody expand on this issue?

The Sony Endzone M9 is said to take too long to adjust to HDR when starting a match, up to 10 seconds. This is a rather unfortunate drawback, considering it can also mean that one will miss the very beginning of a match, for example in Destiny 2's 120hz Crucible matches.

I returned the first model because it had hair under the screen and HDR problems. The second model works much better, but there are still some problems with it. The display port 1.4 doesn't work and when I turn on HDR on consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X) the screen can flicker (during gameplay, die a lot because of it in Elden Ring) and totally mess up the colour palette. Also somtimes in dynamic FPP games I see vertical banding, it's just weird and sad for that price.

I really hope we get more monitors with local dimming zones. I would get this monitor for my PC but the input switch bug and other minor annoyances is putting me off.

Is there a fix for the searching for a signal issue yet

I purchased the LG 27GP950 and I really couldn’t get pass the IPS glow when playing games like Resident Evil Village. I sent it back and was thinking of getting the InZone M9 because of the 96 zones and better HDR.
