It piques my interest the problems which other artists encounter while preparing lithographic prints. Can anybody throw some light on this issue?

There are many still hurdles in lithography for the artists. Mot so much as those who sweat it out in areas like drawing or painting as artists. It demand lots of planning as it is not simply drawing or painting on a sheet of paper. One has to be careful that the final print will bear the inverse impression of the image. Such consideration is, of course, needed during the whole process of making the picture. Further, lithography is an exhaustive and time consuming job as it consists of making multiples and many things can go wrong while doing this type of work. But there are still many artists willing to embrace the challenges that lithography puts on them along with exploration of different medium.

For all those who don't undestand, think about stamps, or the wax that they use to close envelopes.
