Samsung 8K QLED TV stands out due to its Frame style design that ‘disappears’ into the wall. The TV is MASSIVE and has no borders. How about remote control? Samsung’s frame remote, which is different in size and shape, is one of the unique features of the TV.

The style of the Samsung Frame TV’s remote is simple and in sync with the looks of the television set. It employs solar technology so that there is no requirement of changing the batteries since it can be recharged by a solar panel at its back or through a USB C port. It can also be configured as a universal remote control to operate other devices.

The remote does have a direct input source button. Just hold the "123" button for 2 sec and an input shortcut menu opens. You're welcome :)
Also, if you use Voice Assistant, you can say for example "Alexa, switch to HDMI 1".

Good afternoon! Thankyou for your detailed review on the framed tv. Can you confirm that it is the 2022 model though? Your title makes it sound like a 2023 model, but all my searching so far only shows a 32" model made in 2023.. All of the others are 2022....

I'd hate to buy the 2022 model hoping for the 2023 features you've discussed here.

Great review! Have two questions just to be sure: 1. Does it remember the last input (Apple TV) once turned back on. 2. Is the art mode independent of the input selection or do you still need to switch to the clunky Samsung OS to change its settings or turn it on every time?

Thanks for the content. Are you able to hit the power on the Samsung remote which would turn on the tv, Apple TV 4K box and sound bar? Then, you would also be able to control the sound bar volume from the remote too?
There being no keyboard on the Samsung remote, I would like to use the Apple Remote on my iPhone. In that case, if I turn on the Apple TV box from my phone would that also turn on the tv itself? …the sound bar too?
