The SRAM Red eTap AXS groupset enhances the shifting performance with a complete mount system which saw the rear derailleur being mounted on the rear axle making it more accurate and stronger. The shifting is accelerated due to the axle mount UDH, New Design of derailleur geometry which comprises of a reinforced triangulated pulley wheel cage and the smaller ramps of the cassette The setup is also simplified because there are no limit screws and modifications are possible without hand-on tools and can be managed effectively through AXS application.

So on this setup, how do you check derailleur alignment, and better yet, how do you adjust it? We can’t assume it will be spot on either. After all, they can’t even get brake caliper flat mounts right, or bb shells and faces as they should be. Is it because it’s mounted right to the axle centerline and not the frame, that no misalignment will ever happen?
