The button that controls the camera in the new iPhone 16 is made up of sapphire and mesh, its operations managed by an exclusive tactile engine. As a wheel located at the corner of the phone it can be used like a trackpad and swiped to perform specific actions related to the camera as the user’s device. Tapping it activates the camera application from the lock screen; in the application itself, it snaps a picture or records the video. By making a lighter double tap one can choose other options set for the camera, whereas dragging it moves the selected features. This feature can also be used on third-party applications other than Apple’s camera app which has this feature as well.
