What's the update on AirPods Max?

I see that there's been news concerning an upgrade for the Airpods Max. What is different?

Among the most noticeable changes to the headphones is that the AirPods Max will be available in five new colors and the Lightning port will be switched to USB-C. But there are no other considerable alterations in the headphones. The AirPods Max still do not include an on/off switch, use the same case, have the H1 chip while other models have already switched to the H2 version. The cost still stands at $550.

Technically since they didn’t increase the price of the AirPods Max, adjusted for inflation they are almost 20% cheaper now
