There are two main types of schedule management which are the manager's schedule and the maker's schedule. In the managers’ schedules, managers break their time into several moments during the day and do not consider vacuums as a void but a chance to engage. On the contrary, makers need massive blocks of rest, which are days without meetings or other interactions, to get deep work like programming, writing, or design performed. In the opinion of makers, emptiness of the calendar means that valuable, but not urgent, tasks can be completed.
