iOS 18 now introduces voice memo transcription as an added feature for the Voice Memos app which allows users to search recordings that were made with certain keywords. They can generate or view a transcription by going into the app, choosing a recording, clicking on the waveform icon, and then on the icon with a quotation mark that says ‘transcribe’. Click on ‘Done’ at the end of the transcription.
