An hour-long meeting can be an annoyance to a creator's productivity. Since creators must engage in relatively deep work that requires long periods of concentration, even a short meeting can disrupt their entire morning or afternoon. This is due to the fact that it disrupts the flow of the worker would otherwise be in and makes it harder for them to get back into the flow which lowers their productivity and efficiency.

Paul Graham's blogpost is a classic and takes only a short time to go through. Can't remember how many people I sent it over the years. Great to have a content version now.

This content blew my mind. Whenever I have a meeting my productivity as a maker drops and I didn't know why (I thought it only happened to me, I even thought I was being lazy), but now I understand. Thanks Alex. your content it's insane!!!!

This content was such a shift in frame for me. I was always getting confused about why I was feeling like I couldn’t get things done. Now I realise that I’m a maker and need those big time blocks to do the making.
This really helps me understand my time and what I need to shift my focus to. Thank you Alex once again for the immense value.
