Indeed, just like all Apple products, the AirPods Pro 2 are to receive software upgrades that allow these to be classified as a hearing health experience product. Such software will come with an anti hearing loss in loud environment, a test for hearing profile for the AirPods users, as well an ability to use the AirPods Pro as a class 2 medical device. Just recently, the Food and Drug Administration gave Apple its permission for this feature. This would further help in reducing the perception problem regarding the medical hearing aids as these will be the AirPods Pro which is a more two sided product for the masses.

Just received my Air Pods pro yesterday. Already impressed with the sound quality over my Bose ear buds. Also will be using the voice focus mode while I await the hearing aid feature.

Imagine where we are so accustomed to wearing AirPods and wearing a headset is the norm. Gen alpha will be crazy

Good point about the case vis a vis the camera control button. I have a 14 Pro Max and so far don't feel compelled to get a 16. Maybe a 17 when the AI features are fully baked and we really see them. I do have hearing loss, however, and Airpods 2 so looking forward to seeing how effective the software update is. My Series 7 watch is still going strong so no Series 10 for now.
