Why do EU consumers seem to lay more emphasis on the battery and camera improvements in the recent iPhone model?

As per the sources in Europe, consumers may try to concentrate on the battery and camera improvements, since the Apple Intelligence features are not incoming to the iPhone in the EU jeer because of the Digital Markets Act. Thus the greater battery life as well as the camera features will now have to be the selling points for the EU users.

❤Hi Bridget, you’re the best! I’ve ordered 16 plus to upgrade from my 12 pro. I wanted a larger screen in my old age and tried a 15 plus - which I returned after my holiday as it didn’t seem very different - I couldn’t see me really using pro camera features when there are so many more on the plus and the ordinary pro wasn’t quite enough of a size boost. Still i can always return it if I feel i want to spend an extra £300. For info I ordered it through Amazon as I had a little credit and then there’s the 0.25% cash back on my credit card: £2.15 towards a £7 case - I’ll check the camera button cutout. Thanks for the tip.

I was thinking about upgrading from the 15 pro Max to the 16 pro max for the bigger battery and the slightly bigger screen. The only reason it’s been a thought is because I use my phone heavy every day and it’s already on 88% battery health and next month makes one year.  so I’ve been holding off to see the reviews for the battery life to see if it’s a better improvement. Also does any one else iPhone 15PM randomly gets hot after using certain apps it’s a little concerning and making me want to ditch this phone. Let me know if that’s a normal thing on the 15

I’m not buying an iPhone 16 pro just because of what was announced, I’m buying one because I’m going on a trip and I’d like to take great pictures to remember it, and I’m in the market to upgrade from an iPhone 12. Could I stay with the 12? Sure, but I choose not to. It’s like getting a newer car because your starting to notice you decades old car is making old noises. It still works but if you have the means to do it, it’s your choice.

If I buy iphone 16 in the us and take it to europe, is it going to be the same as it will be bought in europe? I am just curious.

As much as I want to upgrade from my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the lack of physical SIM is still my biggest barrier to doing so. I use an Android when I'm working, but I just pop my SIM card in the Android and I'm ready to go. I just upgraded my Pixel from a 6 Pro to a 9 Pro and it may become my main phone as my iPhone becomes more outdated. I was hoping e-SIM would be better by now, but AT&T won't activate my unlocked Z Flip 6 and OnePlus Open with an e-SIM even though they both support e-SIM and work perfectly with the physical SIM card.
