The latest AirPods 4 come with an all-new open earbud design not expected in open earbuds: active noise cancelling mode. They have also been modified somewhat and tend to fit the majority of ears better. Such a model is $50 more expensive than its base one, due to the noise cancelling feature. Such changes give more consumers the possibility to use the noise cancelling technology, without having to pay too much money for it.
